As a Norwegian (or from anywhere other than the US) I think it is a bit annoying that every time I create a new score, it is created in Letter format as standard, even though I set the last score to A4. I am solely using A4 when printing (and so are probably many others), and I think it would be a good practice to enable the user to choose, and save a paper size of their choosing (as an application setting, not score setting).

What OS? Is your PC setup for Norway and the Norwegian locale?
Mine is set up for.Germany.and my scores are automatically in A4.
It *should* detect your preferred paper size automatically. I think it is based on the default paper size for your default printer, although I could be wrong about the specifics. In any case, it should work and does for msot of us, so if it doesn't on your system, there must be some reason. What OS are you on, and what is the default paper size configured for your default printer?
