Opening the attached file in 3.0 beta and allowing the program to reset all elements positions to default will cause the program to unexpectedly close.

With current build I don't even get that far, crashes before displaying the dialog. Lots iof debug message about sanitizing tuplets, so I expect there might be a problem there.
I would think that there is indeed a problem with sanitizing tuplets as almost every measure contains triplets or groups of 6. The score does open properly in 2.3.2.
on win 10 beta. file opens initially, and if I don't reset elements then loading completes fine. But if I reset elements, then there is a crash before loading completes.
Confirmed.
The issue with the file not opening is likely to be fixed by https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/4346.
The issue with resetting positions needs testing after applying that patch though.

Tuplets can be layouted only if beams on the tuplet chord/rests are layouted.
Cross beams complicate this a lot as a cross beam can only be layouted after staff
distances are fixed.
