Fix version
3.3.2
Comments
Confirmed.
Really incredible to release a version worse (for Windows 10, 64 bits for me) than the previous.
First, I receive a error message related to Qt5Xlm. dll (and some others, always with Qt5X)
After attempting to re-download 3.3.1 with "Repair" option, not more success. Palettes are empty.
Came up again: https://musescore.org/fr/node/297019
(user under Windows7 32 bits)
And again: https://musescore.org/en/node/283745#comment-958553
me too. just read and posted here, but couldn't find a fix. https://musescore.org/en/node/283745. though musescore2 does have palette buttons on my system, i can't open the musescore3 projects on musescore2, so i'm unable to get work done. i've tried factory reset and multiple re-installs. any advice?
The fix is to uninstall 3.3.1 and install 3.3, which is probably still on your computer.
@pulczar : #283745: preset tool palettes empty is an entirely different and unrelated issue

can't find a 3.3 version. all the links lead me to a 3.3.1 version. I did install MuseScore-3.0.5-x86_64.msi, which fixed the problem and i now have my palette buttons. is there somewhere i can find a a 3.3 version link? thanks
Tried 64 and 32 bit versions of 3.3.1 Both paletteless

OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.3.1.8837, revision: 824af4c
Same here. No palettes.
Update: Downloads for version 3.3.1 have now been removed from the website. The latest stable version has been changed back to version 3.3.

Thanks Mike
Took your advice and reinstalled the previous version.
least I can get some practice in
Best Regards

No doubt the problem is the top priority for the few employees of MuseScore and a fix will be released as soon as possible. Reverting to 3.3 is the only workaround at the moment.
Version 3.3.0 is the version currently offered on the website as the free download. Remove 3.3.1 and then redownload 3.3.0.
Can we download 3.2.3 version? It worked well.
https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/releases/tag/v3.2.3
No Palettes, No fun!
It is time to return to 3.3.0.
You can certainly download 3.2.3, but again, 3.3.1 has been pulled, so simply installing 3.3 is the preferable approach. Then you don't lose out on on the bug fixes and new features.

@cadiz1 I had the exact same experience! The first install didn't install completely, and I repaired it, then I could open MuseScore but there was no palette.
:)
I believe 95c5841 and e3a5734 should fix this?
Or is there more that is needed?
Can those who had the issue try the just released 3.3.2 and report back here please?
In reply to Can those who had the issue… by Jojo-Schmitz
The issue doesn't exist anymore, although I'm on a different computer (also Windows 10).
It's fixed, at least on my computer, as reported on Telegram.

Palettes OK in 3.3.2 on my PC.
But, check for update from (re-)installed 3.3.0 didn't report an update is available.
It does now.
All works so far. Thanks
