If 'hide empty staves' is enabled, rehearsal marks disappear on all systems where the topmost stave is empty (and hence hidden).
This is the case for 1.2, but also for the latest e059b3a

I tried an experiment: I attached a 'rehearsal mark' to a note/rest from each of the 3 staves I'd created. One of the staves had music written, while the other two staves were empty. When I went to "Hide Empty Staves", all 3 rehearsal marks were hidden. Sigh! And I was so excited to get my 'first' MuseScore composition out to my choir. :(

Let me append to my earlier experiment:
So I created "System Text", "Staff Text" & "Chord Mark" on (1) an empty stave, and (2) the notated stave. In case #1, all 3 text-marks disappeared upon selecting "Hide Empty Staves" -- to be expected. In case #2, the "System Text" disappeared while the other 2 text-marks remained upon selecting "HES". So, the "HES"-option is universally hiding both the "Rehearsal Mark" and "System Text".

Also, when you hide staves, the staff names in long form should show up the first time that staff appears, but instead, only the abbreviation shows up.

Anyone found a workaround yet?
