Editing text leads to crash
3.0 dev. c8fb201 / Windows10
1) Default "Untitled" score
2) Double-clic on "Title" for editing
3) Try to edit middle letters "it"
Result: the highlight does not hold.
You can only delete to add new letters. But:
4) With the cursor to the left, and by using "Del" key: remove first letters "Ti"
5) Escape
6) Undo
Result: crash
- I am rather scrupulous in presenting this kind of issue report. Because I observe that editing is restructured (or perhaps/probably always a work in progress?): https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/commit/9384654ab7813742b55d0cbb3…
And so, one never knows that if the issues reported and concerning the latest versions of the 3.0 dev. are useful or not.
- There is also problems with frames which not appear on the score - and so, no way to edit/delete them. This is a new regression (there are a few already with frames in the last few months), and so, again, I'm wondering what to report or not, because maybe it's more or less "predictable" at this stage of the 3.0 development?

Same behavior by editing lyrics, chords symbols, rehearsal marks etc.
The idea in 3.0 is to replace double click by simple click to make it easier to edit text.
I've noticed this, but I thought/hoped it was a temporary regression. How are you supposed to select a text object? For example to use the Inspector, or drag to reposition?
Text editing is a work in progress. Expect some bug fixes/changes in behaviour.
Don't see the crash with the mentioned scenario with the actual nightly on MacOS.
